Acqua Alta is the uniquely Venetian phenomenon of high water, when the lagoon floods and spills into the city. It felt like a fitting name for this series of drinkware. The interiors are glazed in deep green, echoing the waters of Venice, while the textured exteriors carry rusty, burnt markings that recall the warm reds of the city’s brickwork and tide-worn walls. Together, they create a palette that belongs unmistakably to Venice. The set includes two forms shaped by daily rituals at home: a cortado and a flat white cup for Martina’s husband Joe.
