Martina Casonato is a designer, photographer and cook based in London, but originally from the Venetian countryside.
Martina Casonato is a London-based designer, originally from the Venetian countryside. A graphic designer by trade, she studied Industrial Design at the University of Architecture in Venice before moving to London to complete a Master’s degree in Graphic Design.
After gaining experience in some of London’s most prestigious design studios for over a decade — and teaching branding at university level in Italy — Martina pivoted her career and launched The Venetian Pantry in 2020. What began as an Instagram account documenting the renovation of her Victorian home in London has since evolved into a creative platform where her passions for design, food, and photography converge.
Through The Venetian Pantry, Martina creates content, develops recipes, curates and hosts events for brands, writes essays as well as travel and renovation guides on Substack, hosts the Spilling Tea podcast, and offers interior design consultations.
With La Collezione, she comes full circle and returns to product design, collaborating with and championing makers from Italy and the UK to create unique, small-batch pieces that elevate the rituals of everyday life.

Each event is developed to reflect a brand’s aesthetic and ethos, balancing atmosphere, styling, and hospitality. With experience in both private and brand settings, Martina creates memorable experiences that embody the convivial spirit of her work.
Interior Consultation
Tailored advice on interior styling, layout, and finishes, with an emphasis on natural materials and thoughtful design. Consultations support private homes, creative studios, and brand spaces, offering guidance on creating environments that are functional, characterful, and visually refined.
