Marmù

The Marmù collection was born out of a collaboration with Martina’s dear friend Antonella and her 85-year-old, force-of-nature father Nicola. The pestle & mortar in particular, offered in two variants (grande & piccolo), were designed by Martina and handmade by their team in the family quarry in Trani, Puglia. Crafted from Serpeggiante — a local marble with warm beige tones and distinctive striped veining — each piece reflects the natural character and heritage of the region. The grande, tall and narrow, is ideal for grinding spices, nuts and seeds, while the wider, shallower piccolo is perfect for making pesto and sauces.
