Briscoa – Jug

Named after the beloved Italian card game, Brìscoa evokes the spirit of conviviality and play that accompanies aperitivo hours in Veneto. Designed in collaboration with Martina’s long-standing friend Marina, the jug is imagined for pouring wine (un’ombra, in the local dialect) or water at the table — a simple, generous form that invites company to gather. Each jug is crafted in small batches from dark red stoneware and finished in one of two glazes: Nebbia, a soft, misty glaze with a cloudy effect inspired by the morning fog of the Pianura Padana, where Marina and Martina grew up, or Chocolate, a clear glaze that reveals the natural warmth of the clay. The set includes a small resting dish for the sphere.
