A long-lasting floral arrangement in soft pinks and greens, echoing the hues of Venice. Terèse takes its name from a small Venetian neighbourhood known mostly to locals and students — a quiet corner Martina frequented while studying Graphic Design and later teaching at the University of Architecture in Venice.

Over time, the colours shift with the light: greens soften and fade, blending seamlessly into gentle pink tones. Each bouquet is handmade and will display subtle differences, and comes carefully packaged in a box.

Your Terèse Bouquet is crafted from naturally dried stems.

Keep it indoors, out of direct sunlight and away from heat and humidity to preserve colour. Some discolouration over time is normal and part of its beauty.

Do not water.

If dust settles, simply revive the bouquet with a soft brush or a cool hairdryer breeze.

Handle delicately to preserve its form — dried botanicals are beautiful but naturally fragile.

Care Instructions

Emily Ayres launched Design by Nature in 2017, bringing a sculptor’s eye to floristry. Based in Stoke Newington, London, and with a Fine Art degree, she translates her love of texture, form, and negative space into floral designs that feel more like immersive sculptures than traditional arrangements. Guided by the Japanese philosophy of wabi-sabi, her work embraces imperfection and celebrates the raw, fading beauty of dried flowers, creating installations and bouquets that are both contemporary and timeless.
